We're going to migrate the current temporary network setup onto a new Juniper QFX based n+1 redundant stack. During that time, we anticipate short interruptions of up to 15-20 minutes each customer within this region. Other regions are unaffected by this maintenance.
The maintenance is necessary to bring the network at Helsinki, Finland, again into a properly designed state. Prior to this maintenance, there was a full hardware failure of the previous routing stack, causing a major outage as well as a failed redundancy state, leading to an additional outage, during a suppliers failure. As there is quite some distance between Germany and Finland, we had to prepare and send new hardware on-site.
We're eager to resolve that kind of situation with a clean state to provide our customers within this region with a highly redundant architecture - in-line with our standards.
