The issue has been pinpointed to a loose connector at Equinix, we're re-enabling the darkfiber between Equinix and Interxion later on. Currently traffic traveses from Equinix to Interxion over the Tornado Datacenter ring.

We're carrying out maintenance on the interconnection between Interxion and Equinix to debug a issue affecting the darkfiber link's upgradeable capacity between these points of presence. Traffic load has been already shifted on the links over Interxion - Tornado Datacenter - Equinix. No customer impact expected, this notice is pure informal.
