We have been hit by a software bug, which caused a segfault of the rpd (route processing daemon, which handles bgp) within Juniper JunOS on the router core01.egh1, resulting in a flap of bgp-sessions for a 30 second period at around 13:42 CET. The process was automatically restarted by the control plane of the router.
Following quick analysis of the generated coredump, we know the exact cause and will patch the firmware on this equipment shortly.
