Earlier on, we had a maintenance communicated in https://status.combahton.net/incidents/wn8pc021yvy3. This was delayed, as RETN ran out of public ip-address-space at Equinix FR5, we overlooked to update the maintenance post accordingly.
Following yesterdays incident with link flaps as described in https://status.combahton.net/incidents/c28y1q18ftk0, we decided to go with internal ip-address-space. RETN therefore had our ports provisioned yesterday, so we already drained connectivity, to move those ports to Equinix FR7 (FFM5) instead.
Fortunately that worked quite smoothly, beside the fact that our new crossconnects at Equinix FR7, dont provide any signal. RETN already checked and couldnt find any issue on their side. This is currently a trouble ticket with Equinix, to get our new ports up. So to speak, there is no impact to our customers or capacity, as operation is still running over the other carriers. That said, we saw no immediate need for communication.
Once Equinix resolved the issues on the new crossconnects, we'll take RETN at Equinix in Operation. We'll update this maintenance ticket when convenient.
