On 05th December, during the day, we will move one of the darkfiber pairs from Interxion FRA16 to Equinix FR7. To do so, we have already implemented a third diverse connection, which is going to be provided over another route, running right nearby A5 over Frankfurt Airport.
As this is a solely new route, we do not expect any impact to our customers. We will shift some traffic during the works, which is transparent. The new route is necessary to build-up our metroring across major Frankfurt datacenter sites. Respectively there will be a ring between Equinix - Tornado Datacenter - Interxion, while Equinix and Interxion already being interconnected with 100Gbps interfaces.
